Speaking Part1-part2-part3

Part1 is Introduction and interview

Try to aim for 2–3 sentences per answer (about 20 to 30 seconds)

Part2 is Individual long turn

The examiner gives you a task card or cue card
We have 1 minute to prepare and make notes
We should talk for 2 minutes about topic

Part3 is two-way discussion

Time: about 4–5 minutes
Topic: related to your Part 2
Topic Questions: more general, analytical, and opinion-based
Questions often start with Why, How, What do you think about…


Fluency and coherence – can you speak smoothly without long pauses?
Lexical resource – do you use a range of vocabulary naturally?
Grammatical range and accuracy – varied sentence structures, minimal mistakes.
Pronunciation – clear, natural speech (accent does not matter).
