🔹 Transitive Verb

Form:

Subject + verb + object

Examples:

  • They built a motorway.
  • She opened the door.
  • The government improved the system.

✅ Passive is possible:

  • A motorway has been built.

🔹 Intransitive Verb

Form:

Subject + verb

Examples:

  • The population increased.
  • The area grew.
  • Prices rose.

❌ Passive is NOT possible:

  • ✖ The population was increased
